Been coming here since day one, and haven't stopped. My kids love the hibachi, and the show they put on. Nice and clean great food, fast service, and friendly people. The sushi bar is crazy good. I think one of the best around town. Give them a try. You won't regret it!

Hibachi. Japanese Steakhouse. Dinner and a show. It's not that hard to screw that up. Or is it? How many times can you see an onion turned into a volcano? Or a onion into a locomotive puffing out steam? I personally believe these type of restaurants need to step it up and try to get mors attention back to the food. A small party of 4 came here for my birthday.. the place was less than full.... so I completely understand why it was less than lackluster. It was also a Thursday evening. The food? Was nothing too tasty. The two other hibachi places in the metro Detroit area have a little bit of a step up on this place as the flavor of the food and the cooking 'show'. Portions of course are dependent on the size of the people at your table... but you can easily leave this place very full. I don't know though... there was just something lacking from the cooking display, and our meal that just left a sour taste in my mouth for having to pay for an over priced fancy birthday meal. Maybe it was the green tea ice cream. *shrug*

Samurai has a great lunch special on their bento boxes. A ton of food for a great value. Going there during dinner rush I highly recommend avoiding it because the food and service isn't on par. Try going during slower hours for best experience

We took a special trip to try a new hibachi restaurant. This place was NOT worth the trip! The food and portion was fine, aside from undercooked vegetables. The service and atmosphere on the other hand were not. Our server was a young boy who greeted us with "What's up, what are you trying to drink today?" Without a smile or anything else. The 3rd time and every time after he returned to our table he had an earbud in one ear listening to music. He also walked past a few times texting. The chef was not friendly or talkative. He simply cooked our food and left without a word or smile. Like I said above, the food was fine but that is it! We will not be returning to samurai steakhouse again.

The owners of this place are terrible. They asked our party of 8 to get up from our seats, when we hadn't finished dinner, because there were people waiting to be sat. Rude and unprofessional.

One of the worst customer services I have had in my life the Asian lady that I had was terrible, me and my friend came in today for Mother's Day and we asked for the hibachi lunch and she didn't say anything about not having lunch for Mother's Day because of the holiday and so we found out we had to pay double when the check came, which in my case I didn't care $20 is really nothing to me but my friend was very upset, which made me upset and then the worst part is after I get my card she didn't give me a pen, waited for the pen for awhile, nothing so I left she runs out saying that I didn't sign the receipt, okay obviously I'm upset and you didn't give a pen to sign anything with what am I supposed to do wait for an hour? So then I signed it and gave her a tip outside, I really regret giving her the tip cause she really didn't deserve it at all and she says shame on you? Like are you fucking serious I really regretted giving her the tip right after but I guess this review will take its toll for what it's worth to me. The owner should hire more understanding employees and people that don't point at you and say shame on you, I really was just about to laugh out loud, did that really happen? But anyways don't come here unless you want decent food and the worst service humanly possible. I used to come here once in awhile but today just let me know I will never come here again.
